the beginning music was kinda mesmerizing

I liked the concept of the "core" being stolen. Will be cool to see where this goes. Luck with your other submissions

DoomGirlMeg responds:

Thank you! ^_^ We're already planning the next episode.

DGM + ADK = 3-letter acronym lovin' flashmakers!

To start... Really nice looking preloader! I love white-sketchiness on black bg (my girlfriend does lots of sketching and sometimes I would take sketches I liked and scan them and then negative-ise them so the white paper became black and the black ink/pencil became white lines. I loves it. So nifty preloader to start...

Alrighty... loaded, finally! And more sketchiness lies within... this time typical black on white, though. Interesting music usage... abrupt violence (though not unexpected personally as I've noticed a couple angry "you're sick!!!!" reviews earlier this morning while moderating reviews)... and just plain great drawing/animation. I dig it. I kinda wish there had been a bit more storyline revealed before the dreaded To Be Continued popped up, though. Any idea on when the "two others in this series" might show up in the portal?

As for areas of improvement... hm... well, the main thing that springs to mind is cutting the music off: after the credits play and we get dumped back at the preloader screen... the music continues and if you hit play during it, there's overlap. Two solutions would be A) a replay screen where the music continues, but once you hit replay, it takes you back to the preloader screen and that stops the music... or B) it goes to the preloader like it does now... but the music is stopped when that happens.

That's really the main thing. I guess, also... that in future parts of the story, the "To Be Continued" could be a little less abrupt and tacked-on looking. That's about it. The content of the actual storyline segment was excellent. I look forward to future installments, good luck to both of you.

woo...

this is an interesting start. You have sparked my curiousity. Congrats
