I don't see much wrong with this. I would try to improve on the sound a little bit more because it was hard to hear the music in the background at times. =3

Nice opening
I see that you know your way around Flash. The smooth animations and custom sprites were amazing. The sound effects were played correctly and the music was really effective for setting the mood. The title screen and Scene Selection screen were both very well-done. The plot is very original, too (as opposed to most other Mario sprite animations, which are usually just "Mario dies and Luigi gets revenge" type things). I can't wait for the sequel to come out. If you apply as much work to that one as you did to this one, then it'll be great. Excellent work.

nice job. ive been meaning to watch this but never got around to it until today. bonus scenes werent much, but 2005? you must put alot of work into this stuff. and believe me, it shows. ok, here goes:
Graphics:
I'm not partial to sprites, but the animation was so incredible that i had to give a 9.
Style:
Great storyline, its just been done before quite a few times. nevertheless, yours was great, so a 9 for you.
Sound:
Loved the way music and sound FX fit in. a perfect 10 on that.
Violence:
Its not often you see decapitation in such a heartless way. Still, ive seen bloodier flashes, not that thats a bad thing. 7.
Interactivity:
Bonus menu offered a bit extra. Trailers were short, however. a 4.
Humor:
none present.
So there you go, an overall 9. Keep up the good work and maybe you will find a perfect 10 next time.

This story..... It kind of goes straight to the heart... The music was right... the sadness of killing a young one.... its so sad... so beautiful... i cried... :') Your a good flash maker. Make the sequel soon... im going to die

i really liked this flash. good job, i like the sprintsthat you used and the whole idea of your flash, the previous person who reviewed this said that he didnt get marios dream, like when mario got hit by that fireball. first of all it was a dream and he probably did die because then you see all this burnt up land and dead shroom people laying around, im pretty sure if mario was still alive..then he would have prevented that. well anyways...vary good flash..and im really looking forword to seeing the second part to it!
