alright, well FPS's are fairly easy to make. But i'm glad this will most likely help someone out on NG. Actionscripting can be a pain sometimes.. but colision detection is probably the best thing to have in a FPS. nice work.

i never followed it cause it had far to much txt and there was a lot of bugs in the finishid results for example whenu run out of ammo u can still kill the manny and when u fire there is no explosion from the end of the gun or recoil

Damn. I could've sworn the ammo thing worked - I even tested it before uploading, but it seems to have gone buggy at some point. No recoil? I'm a scripter, not an animator. That's not a bug, it's just lack of consideration.
Good but very boring.
It told me so much stuff that I actually skipped around alot. You know alot about flash and you're a great teacher, but you need to pizazz up tutorials more.

Very ambitious tutorial, must've taken a while to write. The problem you have is that the average Flash learner will probably be fed up of reading by the 3rd page; and a lot of the people who vote on movies on this site don't use Flash, so they'll go by the look of it, rather than the content. There was a lot of substance to this, but the interface could have been more attractive (not saying it was bad, I've seen a LOT worse).
I will say, as I've said before, that I don't think people who haven't managed to get a proper Flash through the Portal have any right to submit tutes; however, I think you're an exception, since you obviously know what you're talking about. So go back to Flash and make & submit a kick-ass FPS...

I mean yea it was really informative and told you everything there is to know about FPS games, but there werea few problems:
- Sound, where was the sound? would it have been that much trouble to import a few mp3's into it?
- Bits of code didnt work, if you look if your own example, you can kill the dude even if you dont have any ammo left :)
- to much text, Im going to have to side with the rest here, there was just pages and pages of text. A few images would have helped a lot.
A really great tutorial and i can see that you put a lot of effort into it so ill give you a solid 3.
