So true...
I really like this. I'm a Canadian, so I can't vote, but I fear for the safety of the entire North American continent in the hands of Bush II for 4 more years. I wish more Americans could see that they don't have to choose the red pill to see the truth (which as you say is basically constructed, yet comfortable and familiar, Matrix bullshit), that they do have a choice, that being strong and peaceful does not mean going in and kicking ass and killing a few thousand people on both sides "for freedom". Maybe Bush is more strong-willed than Kerry, but Kerry has the competence and understanding that the "Leader of the Free World" (Canada, Finland, Japan, etc. are not free?) needs to be able to deal with the rest of the world without resorting to violence, like a stupid, giant, global bully. I don't think that the best way to end terrorism is through more terrorism, and buying into the culture of fear just gives politicans power to brainwash more people and then do whatever they want. Terrorism will be ended by the American people deciding to live a gentler life, including electing leaders who will actually aid the rest of the world, not invade, occupy and exploit it. By the way, it was an excellent incorporation of commercialism at the end. And maybe Kerry isn't the black jellybean...
