Reviews for "Bill the Robot"

Very clever game !

Altought the graphics and sounds are very simple, was is great about this game is the concept. Quite like nothing I have seen on newgrounds. Kind of like a puzzle game.

The way we interact with the robot is very original, using a routine & the addition of subrouine was a great idea.

The increasing difficulty level is more than appropriate, it allows the player to understand the game 1 level at the time.

It's hard to explain with usual criterias, why I like this game so much, because it is so different from a standard game that I cannot compare it to nothing else...

It is a unique game, I love it !

excellent

i really liked the idea for this game. and i was about to suggest everything that timthian suggested hehe.

if you're having trouble with level9, here's the program:

Main program:
sub1 sub1 sub1 sub2
sub2 sub2 left sub2
sub2 forw grab left
sub2 sub2

Subroutine 1:
sub2 sub2 sub2 sub2
left

Subroutine 2:
forw grab forw grab

Awesome game!

Wow, this was great fun. Admittedly it was a little slow and so I quit after level 9, but still was a very good time. Definitely deserves a better score, this looked hard to program. Gratz!

Good start...

Need to add some background music, an indicator of where you are in the 'program', as well a 'reset' for when you fark things up. ;)

Antishow responds:

Yeah I was thinking about the indicator, but I was running on kind of a self-imposed deadline and cut it. Next version I guess :)

The way I programmed in the music it's loaded in before the first frame, and since it made up like 99% of my total filesize I decided I'd just axe it rather than have a 4mb file with no preloader.

Thanks for the review!

awsome

i lvoe this style of game, awsome job. maybe add some music and you should add something that shows where in the program you are
