Beautiful. If I could provide some constructive critique, some parts seem to have a different light source, not trying to be a butthole, just want to give you a comment that you can take from and learn, even though I still have much to learn myself. Overall I love the piece, the emotion it conveys and everything, I would not give it 5 stars if I didn't think it deserved it, nor would I have you in my favorites if I didn't love you. Have a good one.

Tried to write a nice review expressing what this piece expressed to me and what I believe the deeper questions and emotions it induces onto the viewers but alas I lack that ability and patience.
However I wanted you to know this is a damn fine one and added it to my favorites. I can't but feel pity for the little guy who somewhat seems responsible for something worse than lying yet so innocent at the same time. Quite similar to the the reference, top job.

Ok, I'm an ass...I usually don't give out a 5*. But....it's that little bit of white in his right eye that did it for me. A look of sadness or is it a ' I look down and out but I can and will still eat your skull'....Creepy and beautiful at the same time. So are the strings real? Is he really being pulled by someone else or as the tat on his forehead states is this EVIL FUCKING PUPET just another liar....Really thought provoking piece. And HUMAN? I dunno...the worst of us, the reality of us or just some esoteric question....I dunno. I'm going to look at this again, but I would never want it as my wallpaper! I just saw illustration...Looks like it was done on a computer rather than an actual illustration or painting, but... I guess we are in the 23 1/2 century now. Great shading, I could give you praises for days for this but then if you're like most artist you really don't need your ego stroked that much more. Sorry to only comment on the content but that's what spoke to me.

I think for the Puppet it is a esoteric question?
I kinda liked the Idea of the strings being a symbol of the way lies can get tangled up, and confuse even the "Liar".
"Sorry to only comment on the content but that's what spoke to me". That's okay, more than okay, The content is what really matters in my oppinion., the rest is just a way to get the "message" thru. All the technical stuff is just a bonus, something to play with. One of my Art teachers always says that the only thing that matters is what you feel :P
