Reviews for "Mega Man ZXA | Soul Ablaze"

Nice

Sounds pretty fucking good through my stereo. I really can't think of anything to complain about at the moment. The synths sound great and add to the tune quite well. Your tone fit the music really well and your playing was clean.

Who mixed this one? This is probably the best mix I've heard from you two. IN other Megaman covers you guys did it was never quite this nice. Hope to hear some more tunes from you guys soon.

DarKsidE555 responds:

Sweet. I pleased little speedy! hehe. Yepp, mixed by me. I really had a hard time finding a good balance and you don't want to know how much exports I did on the song to please me and Zero-Resurrected. xD

Anyways, I'm glad this one is done and that I could please your hairy ballz you complaining bitch! <3

fuck you.

This is way too loud for me today. haha. I kid, man.
Pretty awesome. Sounds fantastic compared to the first versions you showed me.
Can't think of much else to say, except that you guys did a first class job.

You shouldn't drink and drive on your volume meter! It's not healty for your remaining beer cans! ;)

Yeah, the first version sounded like...crap compared to this now but it's fun to hear the "old" versions compared to the final now. It's kind of a relief for me that this song is finally done and out! On to some new shit! Finally! :)

Thanks as always brotha! <3

Kick ass collab

Nice dude, it really cought my attention from the beginning, very catchy.

About your work, Dickface, that was pretty good. Nice guitar tone, neat and clean, also your tone fitted the mix very well although the rhythm guitar tracks could have been a bit louder. Your guitar tone was sweet. Awesome drums job here! It sounded very real and I could not have noticed that you were using EZdrummer without being informed of it before.

And the synth work was epic, I have no complain about it, really. The synths gave a Video Game feeling to the song and I found very interesting to mix between heavy guitars and video game sounds, nice idea. At 4:15, is that a lead synth or your guitar? It was hard to decide since it sounded distorted but also synthetic.

Overall, kick ass piece of work, the amount of work behind this is obvious and I really dug it :D. 5'd by bro \m/ 4.66 / 5.00 (+ 0.041)

Gathering review responding points ey? You little schmuck yo! ;D

Anyways...rule 10. Hmm, I do agree on the rhythm guitar but that's something that can be corrected quite quicky. Seeing that this song is more synth based I think it's ok the way it is. Try hearing it on a 5.1 stereo. You'll notice that the rhythm guitar is fine the way it is, even if it sounds a bit "down under". ;)

Hehe, as for the drums. I kinda tried something new there. Glad you think that it sounded authentic! >:) At 4:15, there are lead synths playing. We had the idea of a duet first but I think going with the synth there was a better idea. :) I do play a little melodical solo from 5:27 if you haven't noticed that as well. lol

Thanks for the 5 and the review SonOfCock!

Review

I like the guitar. You did good with a nice background variety as well. It always good to change it up like you did. Overall this is a good song. Maybe you could add in some other instrument the make this more complete. An organ would be great, a set of bells would be a nice solo that could realy be cool and sound metal if you did it right (sort of like drums).

DarKsidE555 responds:

Adding other instruments to make it complete? xD Oh gawd NO! I had to mix over 20 layers already in order to get them sound ok, adding more would kill my brain and my comp. haha. Organ is already in and I gotta say I like the bell solo idea too. Buut, this song stands as it is now! (been too long in the works).

Anyways, thanks for checking it out and thanks for the review! :)
