Well, from "Thin Lizzy" and "Black Sabbath" to "Kiss" and Malmsteen, Metal style evolved to Static-X and Korn, but nobody goes to ... "Kiss" and say "What a crap, you guys are not Metal, you sing -God Gave Rock and Roll to You- and this is not Metal, I expect something like ... ... ..."

its more like hard rock than heavy metal but its good regardless

It's a'ight
It's not absolutely incredible, but it's enjoyable. I think it needs a little more equalization, and the mesh of these different style just isn't quite smooth yet.
Keep working on it! good job. Btw, I think I would describe this best as neo-classical.
