Reviews for "8-bit Theater 4"

What say thee?!?!?!

I SAY IT ROCKS!1!1!1 great jorb man really fun and stay to the comic. and the pikachu in the with the demons was hill-air-e-ass!1!1!1

Excellent

DUDE! Who did White Mage's voice? Sounded like Aeris outta Kingdom Hearts! Though I have heard better comic book store guy impressions... The Black Mage Speech in the Credits for White Mage was hilarious, I offer a different view though, the one from Red mage... "I am the Red Mage, I am the Worthless Mage with weak spells from both White and Black that makes the skin itch till I gets the swat!"

magnificent

i have watched this over 20 times in one day and i still cant get enough of it. As always the black mage was excelent and fighter as funy as ever. You may find my graphics choice unusualy high but that is because i just cant imagin 8 bit with out its chunky charm. Also it is absolutely halarious. You simpley must keep 8 bit coming

Comparision to the others

This is probably one of the best of the 8-bit theatres out there (better then part 5 which is out now), however I was thinking the voices (as usual), should be less exagerrated. Everything the characters say is great, espessially the part where BM decides to start hitting on WM. However the timing, and delivery is exactly the best. One thing I should point out is that when I read the comic, I always imagined a much (much) louder noise (like a massive crack or thud) when WM smacks BM with teh hammer. In addition I imagined BM literally slamming into the wall at mach speed, which could add to the humour; possibly accompanied by the sounds of bones crunching (very painful). This amount of timing would basically add to the pain of being denied by WM.
When I talk about timing, I'm referring to hit in the face speedy humour, a good example would be when you surprised us with the blooper of BM's glorious monologue only to be answered by freakish l33t speak from WM. That was hilarious and on par (perhaps beyond) 8-bitch fyve. The speed at which those bloopers flew by should be at the same speed as the comic itself. The best way to describe timing of the actual comic would be to make it sound like it was you who had created the movie and wrote up the whole story in the first place and for the first time. Course, it was really Brian but the way at which the movie should be composed, should sound as if it wasn't really a parody of anything. It should almost fly by at the same rate as if you would read the comic. The fact that the movie moves so slowly compared to the rate of reading is painful; as if it was made for kids, so it would move by so very damn slowly that they understood every single part in one go and wouldnt have to hit replay. Who bloody friggin cares about the kids man! Make the jokes fly by incredibly fast, and it will still sound great, sure you may have to replay to catch certain areas of comedy that you missed. (Such comedy shows as the Simpsons and FamilyGuy do it all the time. I suggest you observe FamilyGuy closely, cuz the jokes fly at a rate of about ten times as fast as your flash does, which makes it all the better).

Boosh.

I've always loved this series. I just realized White Mage sounds like Fiona from Zoids: Chaotic Century...
