Very, very nice!
Call me a 8-bit fan if you will, but truth is, i love 8-bit theatre. I've watched the first three quite a few times, and loved em. I kinda felt uneasy when you suddenly stopped making these, but now i am content to know that the mightly TLF is still alive ^-^
Right, enough of my blabber and on with the review!
Graphics: very good. An artist could've made the movie usin the spriites used ingame, but you take it one step further by making, and using, custom - made sprites in places. And theres no point going on about sprite graphics - i feel that if you handdrew the characters, they wouldn't live up to the comics as well. So keep those sprites a-rollin'!
Style: Very nice. Loved the jokes and all, and the conversion from comic to movie was a good one.
Sound: What did you do to black mage?! I prefered his older voiceover. But White mage was very well executed, fighter kept his over-dramatic tones (which is a good thing) and the comic book guy was very well done. Nice work.
Violence: Not too common. But hey, thats Brian's fault, not yours :P
Interactivity: Skipping the intro and scene selections were very nice. Well executed.
Humour: Oh gosh, where do i start! Script, voices, outtakes - its al there. Funniest bit? White mage's line after BM gives his little love speechin the outtakes. Heheh :)
Overall, a 9. Very well made and greatly loved by most. Personally, i dont think this is as good as 3, but its not far off. Not far off at all. Keep up the good work! And to round this review off in a true m-a-r-c-u-s fashion:
The thumb: up! ^-^
