Man this movie is like a slice of heaven. I've been watching doodie animations since back in the day cuz DOODIE FUCKING ROCKS! This better make home page or there is no god.
Doodie man deals with complex altruistic themes
The fact that doodie man is a super hero that relies upon fecal matter to do good takes nothing away from the complex issues of purpose and morality that the film deals with. Doodie seems to unitentionaly find one bad situation after another and through what can only be an altruistic instinct he attempts to correct the situation. But, for every good act he does it seems that the method, his shit, leaves an arguably equal amount of damage/disgust as the original wrong he was trying to help solve. Its the super hero's conundrum - "am I doing more harm than good?" But then someone always needs help.
Long but good animation. Just get experience
It was great animation, although I didn't really find it all that funny, or entertaining really. But you can draw and animate. The sound drove me nuts and it was dreadfully long. Length isn't a bad thing but you lose attention pretty fast. I think you should try something serious that doesn't involve poop it might keep the attention longer. But keep working on it and you'll be one of the top animators in no time.
