an interesting, if unorthodox, movie
First off, let me say that I thought this was a very good movie, even if I didn't totally follow the plot. Was the main character an actual police officer, detective, or deputy? Or was he simply seeking revenge for his wife? Or is it more than that? He and the villain had very similar facial features. Anyhow, I thought it was great. Loved the style. as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. But to correct a misconception, getting stabbed, even directly in the heart, does not spell instant death. You can survive for several seconds, possibly as much as a minute or two, even if your heart stops. in war, there have been documented cases of a person being shot or stabbed in the chest, heart, brain, and other places, yet still being alive and fighting. as long as the shoulder muscles weren't severed, he could still have shot the killer.
