No, it really wasn't that good...
First off, the sprites looked like crap. How the hell did this stay? I mean, maybe this was your first time at ripping sprites, I don't know, but still, what did you do? DRAW it? If so, don't. Cause it wasn't great at all. Second: I think there was too much text and not enough animation. Besides, mario stand sprite was him halfway through the running cycle! Come ON! Maybe it looked funny to you, but it doesn't to me. I LIKED super Mario Bros. But aside from that, it was alright./K
