It would be cool if you could have different levels to choose from. Something that's not so open, but I'm not saying open is bad. Just more variety. Oh, and make it so that you can go backwards.

Yup...I guessed that choosing different backgrounds would be a fairly good idea...I'll work on it. Obstacles would be fun too...I just need to learn how.

Has definate potential.
It's a good game. A single player campaign is a must, or atleast a really good bot to play against.
I would recomend cleaning up the spaceship graphics a bit, they are kinda fuzzy at certain angles. Also, add random, temporary weapon powerups that players can pick up when they appear on screen. Things from advanced and more powerfull weapons, to that can be dropped (Special button?), to trap bonuses that slow down the ship or bum weapons (That do little damage).
Ofcourse, the bonuses would be temporary.

I actually had that in mind....powerups to refill your health too, bombs, whatever...the ship fuzzyness is probably due to the fact that I turned off smoothing. Maybe it needs it afterall.

Yeah, there are a lack of multiplayer games here. I noticed that too.
Your game was fun. But since there aren't any other people around, I really didn't get to have the full effect of playing against anyone. I didn't dock points just because I couldn't play it with another person though.
I would like to see a game where you could play one or two player, and the players could play on the same team against baddies.

The two-players on the same team was my first idea, but realized I have no idea how to program AI yet. Which is why my 1-player mode is going to be in the works for a while. I figure I'll publish it as a second game. Anyhow, I'll be updating this one shortly and resubmit for reviews/rating.

Cool flash! Graphics are... you see.. not so good. But i LOOOOOOVE the game! Actually, you're very lucky cause normally I don't vote after depositing my experience. This time, I voted 5/5. That was a great game.
