plain
and quite unorigional. Samus and the metriod or whatever weren't drawn too bad. but, as you said, the backgrounds kinda sucked. they were very plain, and i think that the movie's story line wasnt very origional. just a regular 'A' chases 'B' movie. so yeh, not much of a story line... i would have liked to see a bit more violence.
also, the ending was far from amusing.
so overall, it needs work.

Ive never played metroid so I dont really have any idea what was going on, but Im guessing in the beginning of the flash when theres no sound that guy was walking? If so, you should add some walking noises...it would really help make it more obvious. And maybe also some sort of swooshing noise when the thing flies over him. Overall, I guess it'd be funny if I played metroid, good job.
