Its a really nice work done. I dont like the manga stile personally, but i appreciate it.
The better thing on your work its basically the details: That seems the picture more complex than really is, but Its a good one-line drawing.
Finishing, I hope you have a good future here, in Newgrounds... only if you get scouted first.

Nice and epic.
This drawing looks epic, it looks really realistic and very...evil and dark, which I like. (That sort of feeling). I noticed a few "unfinished" areas and I'll point them out.
1. Shadows. (minus 1 point)
Yes, the dark shadows aren't as perfect as possible, but I'll have to admit that you did a great job on this. Maybe you could have shadow some more and make it look even better? It's your choice.
2. Left side of the pic. (Neutral)
I see a white zone on the left of this drawing, which is something I dislike. But since your scanner isn't perfect, I will not count this as a con.
3. No color. (Neutral)
I would really like it if it had color in it. This is, indeed, very hard, but maybe you could continue to work on it and make it look SUPER in color. It depends on your choice! Since it's really hard to add colors (or you don't want to) I'll not count this as a con, either.
So overall, 9/10 (aw, I can't vote) and I'm hoping for a colored version. :P Or a new drawing. :) Then it would be great!

I know that the shadows haven't really worked out as good as I liked them to be, especially around the mask. That's indeed the scanner's fault.
I might make a colored version later on... That is, if I can bring myself to it. The girl has white-ish hair to begin with, but the eyes... and the gloves... mask... Damn that will be hard.
I did indeed leave that white, more on purpose than that the scanner failed. I CAN fix that, but I'll leave that for another drawing... I've got lots of more ideas!

Nice, really nice :).
I like the nose, it's well done and not in a wrong size. Because the noses I draw always get something wrong.
However, the shadows. They didn't work out really really well, maybe you could have faded it a little bit.
But they are at the positions where they belong, and that's a good point too :D.
Due to the lack of colors (which isn't a minus) I'm more looking at the shadows. Because they give some color to the drawing, if you know what I mean.
And when they are not very perfect, I am inclined to dislike it. Which isn't exactly true with this one, but it's a minus of one star :).
I recommended you for the portal, because I know you can draw fuckin' well :D. Godd luck with other drawings!

Anyway, I know I kinda fucked up with the shadows (mask) and I CAN finish that, but due to unfortunate reasons (laziness), I won't fix that. Also, the shadows in the real life drawing are better (mask not included), but that's the scanner's fault.

Very good drawing. That was my favorite part of all 12 episodes... lol. But seriously, it was a shame it bombed in japan. So they only made one season, but here is some good news... They're now airing it on [adult swim]'s toonami!! There's even talk of a SECOND SEASON. have the anime. have all the manga. love it all!

Seriously? I always found it a shame that the series didn't look like it was continuing, even the manga. The series is one of my faves (perhaps my fave), so yeah...
