Now this is a good song. The balance is great, and the guitar sounds awesome. I wish my dad was this cool! X)
Also, I think this would be great for an end credits song for a movie or game.

Im going to be a complete Old Skool nerd and say:
Why does this remind me of Sonic and Knuckles? No seriously brah, why? I mean, it reminds of Triachnid [violin] (A game on Newgrounds), Sonic and Knuckles [piano] (Sonic and Knuckles 3), a Top Down shooter [The various other instruments] (Can't remember what game). It's just... makes me want to reminisce my younger computer years. (Back when the screens were small and bulky, and the keyboards were plain and square, 1996)
The song itself is a mix of calm and excitment. It's not exactly the best thing to listen to in the morning when your groggy, but dude, you got some skill.

And its also a touching story. I have to say, being an Atheist, I don't know if the vocals would suit me, but its some excellent instrumental work to say the least.
I started listening and reading, and I finished reading, and I hit the back button because I wasn't feeling the song. Then I seized as the violin kicked in right before the music stopped and I found myself once again at your collection of music. It was not long before I returned to the song page (try five seconds).
Anyway, this is a very calming piece of Piano and Violin, and some of your best work has made even the longest Geometry homework almost bearable (I don't mind it, but it takes a while to complete), so Kudos, and if your old man is still around, perhaps you might concider extending my appreciation to him.
