Reviews for "Spoilsbury Toast Boy"

hm...

this reminds me of stories of what it's like after a really bad stroke...
great job!

Ouch

I'm pretty sure that end bit is every child's nightmare about the doctor. Love this series though.

crazy

craziness at its best

Originality at best!

What is great about David Firth's series, particularly this 'Spoilsbury Toastboy' is the originality of it; something which really lacks in today's modern media. What David has done is set out a new totally surreal environment, along with incomprehensible characters ~ Similar to that of an extremely distorted memory of an unexplainable distant dream or nightmare which was partially forgotten, and projected it all in front of us with his ever so great animations.

The setting along with the music, undoubtedly gave me the creeps. And all in all a very perfect masterpiece without little to perhaps no flaws! Animation however for me does play a BIG part from my perspective, considering David Firth (The Creator) Animated, and constructed all this alone is nothing short of amazing as it is, but nonetheless I have to be picky here.

The animation was very, very basic - had it been done with great animation (Which is of course never possible at all with Flash) with intricate detail of that of like those professional old Disney Films, this would no doubt be within the 10 range, and higher if possible.

Except for the animation, it is pretty much an all rounder - and a must watch for those craving for something different, or more surreal, something un-square & bland and out of the box!

all time favourite

so dark yet humorous.
