Looks familiar
This reminds me of the pictures from those old Scary Stories books by Alvin Schwartz (even though the illustrations were done by Stephen Gammell), but 10 times better. It kind of has the same feel of exaggerated grotesqueness, but it also has cuteness and innocence to it as well. A surprising amount of detail in it as well for something that looks a little mundane at first glance. Pretty damned good.
