this game kinda sucks

i use "kinda sucks" coz it is not that bad actually. the main problem of this game is that the plane gets overheat too easy, also it is too damn large in size(it is half the height of the screen). on the other hand, the screen is too damn small, and the plane always hit those half-breaking UFOs, i DO mean "half-breaking"(damn man, which f***ing kind of game will program the targets need at least 1.5 sec. to disappear from sight)so how the f*** can i get out of the way in time. but this is still enjoying

Sick of this game.

Shifting from mouse to use the menu to keyboard to play the game was annoying, particularly as this was required everytime you die. Man is it easy to die in this game.

I enjoyed the basic gameplay of the first version yesterday and found it addictive for a while but after a few games it didn't really hold my interest any more. This version didn't really fix anything up for me and I only played it for a while.

What kind of plane that overheats by firing too many of its infinite supply of missles doesn't have a built in mechanism to stop you from blowing yourself up. Maybe instead of overheat being instant death it could shut down your weapons till they cool down.

Graphics, sound and programming were all okay for a flash game... but you need to work on the gameplay for this game to be interesting for more than a few minutes.

Well, first of all, the menu looked pretty crappy. The person playing the game could have gotten a feeling of what the game would be like. THe first impression of the plane and missles, work on the menu. And you overheated too fast which was dumb. There was one bug I found, when I died the first time, a alien spaceship kept coming toward the left of the screen. Even when I was at the menu and entered the game. The graphics and animation was alright, the missles weren't that great, considering they fired at a high rate. Nice try though.

Good, but needs some tweeking

I like it, It's a nicly built game with a few minor problems around. (for example, enemies stop appering at 15k points) It has it's good points (many things better then what other people have) but it also has some problems.

For starters, the main ship is too big in my opinion. While I havn't lost due to hitting, It's size really clears the screen and removes some of the difficutly of the game.

Another thing is the weapon-overheat gauge. You guys have a great idea with it, but the overheat=death thing is kinda stupid in my opinion. Instead, you guys should op to halt the ships from shooting while overheated. It's more code (obviously) but it'll add some difficutly without adding in the "angry" factor of people losing due to holding the space bar a second too long.

Overall, try to make everything a bit small to hold more onscreen, and find a way to make the menu system look clean. That though is up to you guys. Good Job other wise on a soild engine!
