Reviews for "Smash bros 2D"

Not too bad.

It was a good idea, but there were a few things I noticed. For example, many of the sounds were a little off. But what really didn't get you a 10 was all that preperation and humor for a battle that lasted about 2 seconds. Maybe part 2 will be what I'm waiting for.

ZyneXx responds:

Dont worry, There wasnt supose to be a part two, but the file got to big so ive split it up into two parts. Part two will be full of action!

Kewl

And don't listen to the "you should have put Megaman" guy. Megaman wasn't in the game, therefore he doesn't belong in the flash. It was perfect the way it was. Although I'd love to see if you could somehow manage to get the sprites from the actual smash brothers game and do something with them... That would be cool.

ZyneXx responds:

Ill see what i can do.

Nice job

You did a good job trying to make the feel of ssb to 2d, but one thing that gets me is that there is some 3d things in the game , when its supposed to be all 2d right, ssb 2d is the name
oh well keep it up

ZyneXx responds:

I will, thanks!

Really nicely done

This was entertaining. I liked the concept of a 2D Super Smash Brothers game. While there were a few odds and ends, the visuals were nice. The sounds and music were all great. The ending was funny too. I also liked how you simulated the menus very well. Although it could've been longer, it was funny. I loved the part when Luigi was standing next to the Gamecube like that. Good work. ;)

ZyneXx responds:

Thank you very much!

Ok, more things to fix.

1. When Samus was running across the bridge, she looked like she was split in half. I guess it was the program you used.
2. Another thing. When you use one sprite, don't switch halfway through. The Samus sprite you used was from Super Metroid, then you suddenly switched to a scratch or edit Samus. It was clearly visable. The same goes for Luigi.
3. 3-D=Scary in 2-D things. Remember that well.
Hope I havent forgotten anything..

Nice ending with Luigi. That was funny. Same with Samus running across the bridge and the sign thing.
Remember: Don't mix sprites around midway through the movie, and DON'T ever mix bittages. (Like 8-bit with 32-bit, ect.)
