Reviews for "DragonBall CG Ep1"

Put simply - Amazing stuff! "AAGGH, Jump!"

Dude, how the hell do you come up with these parodies?

This has to be the funniest DBZ thing I've seen (apart from Dabura being turned into a cookie in the actual series) and no matter how many times I watch it, it always makes me laugh incessantly. I noticed only minor flaws (Goku's hair was a bit... well, wrong) but the 'story' (sorry, it all seemed so random to be a story) flowed and the humour was brilliant so that more than makes up for that.

I'd say the biggest problem with it would be having to know about the Ginyu Force before watching it (my friend didn't understand anything after the opening scene). The sound is a bit scratchy in places, but oh well, that's nothing major.

The voices - I have no complaints. It's a parody. It's humourous. I'm guessing they're supposed to sound like that. If anything, Goku's 'nothing-like-it-is-in-the-show-voice' fits it better, along with all the other wrong sounds (including hearing you laughing in the background). Oh yeah, and the reference to 'Is That OK?' was priceless!

However, the highlight of the show has to be the newly assembled Ginyu Force's rehearsal:

"Cheese!"
"Butter!"
"MMMWWOOOORRGGHH!"

Cracks me up everytime. All in all, we need more of these types of parodies!

A truly first class animation!

HaHa!

"So...you've been playing video games behind our backs!"
"Ahhh..."

LoL! That was awesome, Goku's voice was so far off that it made it even funnier! Jeice and Burter were hilarious! Make more!

is was sweet

dude when Spopovitch was talking ik couldn't breathe for a moment hahaha

Very good

I liked it! The most hilarious parts were probably those that focused on Burter and Jeice. I must say, though, that the art/graphics were pretty badly (worse than in your "Is That Ok?")... The characters were drawn well enough to be recognizable, but beyond that, they were depicted rather poorly. Jeice and Burter, and maybe Spopovich, were the most accurately drawn.

Some of the motions looked alright, but on the whole the motions felt as if the characters were sliding from one part of the screen to another (is that what you had them do?). The most painful example of this was when the very-hunched Master Roshi slid up the floor to open the door for Tien.

Then, the sound... Again, Jeice and Burter were the closest to their correct voices. (I'm considering the English dub when I say this, but the Japanese voices probably sound even further from how it is here.) So, while Burter, Jeice, and Master Roshi sounded decent (and Tien was alright), Vegeta sounded horribly unlike himself, and Goku- I'm sorry, but I practically winced every time Goku spoke.

I'm still going to say that I really liked this animation - mostly because of the humor. (A note, though - I thought the scanners were no longer used after Freeza was defeated...?) I like how everything came together too, and that the scenes had some sort of plot.

This movie rocks

Dude, I loved this. I hope you make another soon. I loved your other DB pic, 'Is That Ok!?', and this one was almost as good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
