i like how at no point does it turn into some overwhelming hardcore bass breakbeat to balance out its smoothness.

Thanks again! - this was an experiment put together late one night and although I really dig fast breaks - D&B - that sort of thing - I wanted to keep this a little more jazzy - so far I'm pretty happy with the results.

nice.

I like the reverbed horns rotating around in my head. The beats are pretty sweet, nice and fresh. This track doesn't seem like it knows what it wants to be. Glitchy electronic, ambient, DnB, are all tested in here. It's good shit, but I can't help but think it is missing something. Possibly a change in bassline, something a little more progressive, Ez Rollers style?

Yeah, I know what you mean - I'm still trying to pin down a more exact style but I always end up blending everything together. You're right about the bassline though - I really didn't give that part much thought - probably needs a bridge.
