I guess it's one of those things that some people like, others hate. The people who hate it should get drunk and watch it again, I bet you'll love it then!
There was a whole bunch of sci-fi crap thrown in there randomly, and that's what I think it's all about. It pokes fun at some cliches (like the giant squids), we get to see someone get hit in the head with a bat and there's a sassy time machine.
From a technical aspect, some of the voice recording could've been better, but somehow it fits...I liked the music mixing, though. Animation was good, blah blah etc.
