Entrancing

I really like it. It's soothing and deep. The kinda thing i crank on my headphones when I gotta take the city bus so I can ignore the idiots around me... (sorry for the rant)

Anyways, love it and keep ''em comming!

wat wat~!?

me not like it? excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me I LOVE it~! LoL wow everybody's review is so long.. i feel left out hehe XD
well its the thought that counts rite~? nyahaha

Mich responds:

Haha, okay, I thought it might not be quite your style :p
But guess I underestimated your taste...
Thanks for the review! =D

Allright then..

Ok, to start with.. the FX are really good & fitting, like some real goa (I guess!?)
Bass arp & kick are pretty nice..
Although, the bassnote has some part in it that makes it sound like a drum in fact, I never do this, but I guess this is goa stuff! So.. goodjob!!? ;D
The transition at 0:53 doesnt really fit, its kinda weird.. thats where to goa changes into like a happy bassline! About the transition, I'd make it more smooth and add way more stuff :) like rolls, crashes, fx and gaycrapstuff.
About the melody, it lovely, but not quite goa :O
The degrading is a nice element to add & variate the song. Goodjob on that one :O
Imo the overall needs a lil more going on, like add some arp synth that plays the background chords, or more hihat patterns, or some tune that adds to the main tune.
Still, a nice solid track. Congratz on this one, and keep on mixing :)

5/5 or wut?
Kr1z.

Mich responds:

Ok to start with... thanks for the review.
Fx = indeed, goa stuff ^^
Bassnote sounding like percussion was meant like that, it's done that way in goa. Though like ZENON stated I'm going to replace my bass with one with more mid too.
Transistion might be a bit wack, maybe I should have used a little pad-like thing there. You're right.
The melody is indeed not quite goa since goa doesn't have melodies -.- But that's because I'm just not thinking 'dark enough' and I guess I was kinda happyish when I wrote it ^^ But it still sounds nice, and it's original, so I think it's good anyway ^^
Degrading here is a good bitcrusher (freely downloadable, google it) I also added a flanger there to give it an extra touch.
I could have added more, but after all it's not really a major project :p
I'll keep on mixing. Thanks again for the good review, and the 5 ^^

Wheehehehehehe! My laptop's all vibratey!

Love that bassline, on the basis that my laptop appears to have come alive and is now juddering its way across the desk. To freedom! To glory! Or to smash in a plasticy pile of it's own casing. Ha-ha! Caught! Now I think I've rambled on like a crazy person for long enough, so lets try and review this thingie. All right, first off I will admit, at the very beginning, 'bout 6 seconds in I was expecting "I'm the Scatman!" to start playing (or whatever the hell that songs called) and I absolutely love it from around 1:36, mostly because it is so bloody happy that it makes me want to hug something. Damn you! What will happen to my reputation as an unhuggable person! You fool!

Hammerypart says: Whew! To much caffiene this morning to make a semi-coherent review. Also ZEEEEEEEEEEENON (you have no idea how tempting it is for me to call him ZEEEEENOMNOMNOM!) also tottally stole my thunder by creating a long AND helpful review. So I decided to rebalance things. Aaaaanyhoo! Cya 'round!

Mich responds:

Haha, I quite enjoyed your review, if that helps :)
hope your laptop is ok, and I'm happy it made you happy :D

Very good.

Well, I thought it was gonna sound really cheesy with that bassline and such, but man, that little melody you wrote was actually pretty catchy. I liked the clap and the bass synth, but there wasn't enough substance to it. Since the kick and the bass synth made the whole song have some minor compression problems (just crank up the track and you'll hear them) I'd suggest re-EQing the bass; it's a little strong. Maybe layer on a more mid frequency bass synth for less of a thuddy sound?

Very good, like I said before, just work on your arrangement a little bit and some other minor things and you'll be wiping my face in your piss with your music in no time D:

Keep it easy bro!

Mich responds:

Well you know what, I have another start of a goa track lying around, and that bass is pretty perfect imo ^^
I'll try to use it in this one as well, and upload that file for this one. I reckon it won't get to 3000 listens soon anyway, with that score :p
Thanks for enjoying it so much, and again, thanks for all this tips you gave me.

I'll keep it easy for sure, bro! ^^
