I suppose it's in dance because techno has a more 'videogame-esque' quality to it and trance is much more hypnotic.

Sooo... I never actually heard the original, but after I heard your remix, I really want to hear it! For some reason, I think it's just the chord progression, but I feel inspired by this song, then again, it may have to deal with your creative thought and processes of the song. Btw, I really like counting with the whole 6/8 time sig! 1...34...61...34...61...34... and what not... so really, I love it! >.o 10/10!!
