Reviews for "Remembrance Day (WW2 inspired)"

Uplifting!

This is a fantastic song, I hope you know! It so perfectly embodies the soldiers that have given so much for the rest of us. Thank you for posting this - it's simply gorgeous!

Wow thanks so much for your great comment I really appreciate it

I like it

mr. Haigh

This is quite the piece you made, very admireble. But I find it more of a movie version of the world war 2 not the "real" version.

My grandpa used to tell me stories about those times. It was either really sad or (at the end of that dreadfull war) one big party, as they all were happy it was officially over. I can't really say I find the music logical (a little to heroic for my taste) or real for those times, but it would fit perfectly in a movie. I also think I might get some bad remark for this review, and all I can say is that this is my opinion. I would like to hear from you what you find of this particular opinion.

Here I stop before this gets to long. Or to full off opinions. Hahah!

With kind regards,

Anneloes

Thanks for taking the time to listen to the track Anneloes. I composed this track in memory of my grandparents who all fought in WW2. You are right it does have an heroic theme and I see them as heroes as I see anyone that fights for the freedom of there country a hero. I was also inspired by scores like Band of Brothers and Saving private ryan. This was not only a tribute to the Fallen but also from a composers point of view treading new musical territory. I hope this has answered where I'm coming from with the music. and thanks again

Truly touching song!

This song makes me remember the sacrifices and the hardships people endured during World War 2.
We should always try to remember the bravery of soldiers who were ready to risk their lives to ensure a better and peaceful time for us all.
Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the comment it means alot

Amazing.

Very emotional yet inspiring piece of art right here. I've shed a couple of tears while listening to it. And even though I have not seen or fought in the war (my grandfather did), it warmed my heart - made me feel happy and free. Happy to live in a free society, not restrained by the grip of a madman. Happy to walk free, and to live a life where the dark clouds of war don't stand on my mind. May we never forget the brave soldiers who shed their blood on the battlefield, who faced the horrors of a world war to protect our homeland and the world, putting their country and freedom first on the list ahead of their lives. The men who fought bravely and defeated a merciless and demented enemy, bringing an end to its treachery and crimes, and ushering in a new age of peace and prosperity. May their souls rest in peace, and their families be bestowed with happiness and well-being, because without them, the world today would have been under the maniacal grip of fascism. May your souls find peace and happiness, we will be forever grateful.
