Reviews for "Raiden IIS - Part B"

Dude, where's my autofire?

I really likes the insane firepower from the first part of the game.. finally you didn't have to worry about accidently choosing the wrong weapon, you just got all three at once and could concentrate on dodging! ^_^ I loved the autofire, it seems like a bit of honest since all most folks too is jam the fire button until their fingers bleed. I like my present keyboard intact. Great game, do what's cool :)

Raiden IIS Part 2. Raiden Fans celebrate!

I reviewed the 1st and when I saw the 2nd, I just had to review it. Everything I had a beef with before was totally gone. Weapon color managment is back, the new bombs look simply astounding (my favorite is the blue laser), and the boss are challenging. The auto fire button is nice in that I don't hafta slam the same key numerous times. While not totally true to the arcade, it's close enough to not worry about. Being a heavy top-shooter person (Raider, Airbats, Brave Blade, etc.)I really enjoyed this. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, I finally figured how to swap to a different attack-type without keeping foreign types. I'm glad you like, and bless the title you gave it. ^_^

Perfect

The way a sprite shooter should be. It's like playing in the arcade, except without a joy stick, LOL!

Well anyway, had a lot of fun with this game, played it for like half an hour. It's really hard though!

Amazing sprite work and great arcade-like music, it fit in real good. Keep it up!

5/5

Awesome work.

There isn't anyone else on NG that's worked harder on bringing the retro shoot em' up to pure, unadulterated Flash. Very good game for something independently produced.

Of course, the only thing I didn't like was the rate of fire. Yeah, it kinda ramps the difficulty a bit, but, especially in the blue weapon, it can go from challenging to annoying very quickly. Very big stops in-between equals either something not true to form or something that's going to kill you. Nice job with the recurring boss, looked really nice :) The "power bush" was a great touch too. I also liked how you took pity on my poor soul and let me fight on at the last boss... tear...

Go0gley responds:

Well if I made it continuous fire, there'll be two disadvantages. One is that it'll slow down the Flash, and second is that it'll be way too easy. :P I'm glad you noticed the little details in it (not many people do, lol) and thanks for the review. :)

Nice

I love these kinda games were stuff just comes flying at you and you have crazy weapons that just detroy stuff all over the place. I wasn't sure what was going on in the begining because my score just kept on going up and I dunno. The graphics were really good almost acrade worthy graphics wise. You had some cool power ups and they looked like the arcade version of power-ups. I love the different weapons and the look of the different enimies. The sound was great agian it had that arcade look and feel to it and the sound just gave it more of a acrade feeling. I have not played the first game but Ill plan on doin it.

OVerall: Good Work 9

Go0gley responds:

Hehe, you should play the first one so you know what's going on, lol. =P Thanks for the review and all the praises. :)
