Reviews for "Depth of Thought"

\m/

Normaly I don't like long fade ins/outs not that much, but it works very well here. Even though the synth sounds a bit strange at times (as if it doesn't want to be faded in yet... ^^).

I like the progression of the song. It starts off pretty slow, then builds up very nicely. After the quicker middle part it starts to fade out again. As I've said, it works very well and also fits good to the title you chose. It's as if I have a thought in my mind, at first it is a bit in the background of my mind (the song fades in), then I put more and more thought into it (the song builds up) and then I come to a conclusion, the thought leaves my mind again (the song starts to fade out).

Also, the melodies are very catchy and it's pretty nice to listen to this song. Good work!

Thanks for the review Haggard. I think the fade in problem was caused by a faulty rendering engine. Thanks for listening.

I liked this.

I really liked the title that you chose for it too. I think the song really fits the title that you picked well. I could actually imagine the process of thoughts while listening to this. How it starts off very slowly and quiet and then picks up quickly and has a fast beat to it. And then towards the end slows down again. I really liked it and it was generally a fun submission to listen to.

Thanks for your review, man. I hope to write even better songs in the future. maybe even fininsh that demo I wrote this summer. Thanks.

Interesting..

Has a feeling that's spooky and tranquil at the same time.

When the synth was fading in at around 00:35, at times it sounded very odd. Kind of like it would fade in then fade out slightly at the same time.

Anyway, I liked what I heard at 00:58, when you brought everything out. The song sounded much better.

The synth you brought in at about 1:24 I thought took away from the overall feel of the song. I don't know if it was because of the synth you used or to me the rhythm just didn't fit the feel that the song was giving me at the moment but anyway..

Nice song man!

TheBellmaker responds:

Why thank you for the review. Glad you liked the song. Next one will be epic.

Ok.....

Well i am going to say that its not bad although it sounds just abit genaric and lacked a dynamic feel for the audio (seemed to be normalized and flat). For a practice track and a test of your mixer though, i think that it was pritty good if you think about that. All in all, good job though there is some inmrpvment room

TheBellmaker responds:

Thank you for a honest review. Flat, you say? because I reveerbed like every instrument. Yes, I agree that there is much room for improvement. Thanks for the review

Coulda ended earlier

good song, except it dragged on for the last 45 seconds, you could've just ended it at 2:30 and it would've been much better.

TheBellmaker responds:

mmmm. I would have to agree with you. I kinda ran out of ideas, or was too tired to think of any more. Next song will be epic.
