Reviews for "Bloody Dragon"

Not a bad job

I would say that the tounge isnt needed though

good in parts, looks slightly unfinished

I like the details of the horns and the neck area. I think the teeth just don't fit for some reason. the tongue either. I think the tongue wouldn't look like a separate object if you didn't use such a bright blue color in contrast with the red and blacks. Color can change things quite a bit. I like the way you've picked up some of the blood reflecting in his eye as well, that's a good touch. I think you just need to work with this a little more, change the color of the tongue and focus on the mouth/nose area a little bit more. I would probably darken the area under the tongue a little more as well. Good use of a design panel for the background, kind of gives the viewer the feeling of dragons and dark ages. Good work.

very good i like it

but dont you think look a little like a dog?

Looks great.

The red spots, whether they're markings or blood, look great against the cool grey colors. That blue tongue really helps offset the color composition, giving it a great contrast. The coloring in the eye is really great. I like to think of it as a marked dragon.

Almost perfect!

Unlike some other people, I noticed how the "blood" doesn't really look like blood. It looks like markings. I mean, while a bloody-headed dragon is cool, the blood wouldn't spurt into small areas all over the face. It would more so cover the entire jaw area (almost) and maybe have some dripping, as long as it looks thick. Other than the actual placement, it's a great picture!

thomahawk responds:

''Damn you bloody dragon!'' ''stop eating the villagers!'' If you look at it like that, it's a bloody dragon. I think you are right. They look more like markings. I think I'll make the blood les saturated and darker next time, and add some details. Thanks for the honest review.
