Needs more spookiness
I would have to agree with nasifc that the ending was the best part. It had a bit too much techo and not enough spookiness to it. I was hoping the tune would kind of sound like Luigi's Mansion from brawl with a bit of Banjo-Kazooie to it.
*shrugs* I did spooky last Halloween with Magus' Midnight. I figured this year I'd aim for less spooky and more intense, which I think is what I pulled off. Besides, I couldn't keep the attitude of Smithy's song if I went spooky, now could I? :P

Interesting
Most of the song was pretty good, but the ending (and blending) really got me. Nice! Also the freestyle synth or whatever in the background was sweet.
That said, I still think people are far too eager to rate 5s (or 10s) on everything they listen to...
Yes, well, I'm not going to complain about that. :P
And actually, being in the biz I've found the opposite: Newgrounds has lately been full of people who will vote zero without (I'm convinced) even listening to the song. It's driven me to the point of quitting Newgrounds altogether a few times (although the latent delays have been totally unrelated). So, I'll stick with people who blindly vote five, thanks very much, because they help to counteract the jackasses who like to go around voting zero.
