I actually beat this game

First of all, I give this movie a 5 simply because my good friend XwaynecoltX is in it!

Now onto the review...

The story was good and well plotted out. That's the main reason I kept playing, to see what would happen to the characters. And I gotta tell you, that was a nice cliffhanger you left at the end. The voice acting was good but X has to put more emotion into his lines >.<

The drawings were nice. Nothing too fancy, but way better than what I could do! The music really set the atmosphere and went well with the movie. A lot of people complain about the repetitiveness of clicking, but it doesn't bother me. Although to make it more interesting, the character should die or lose a life if you click the wrong choice.

Well, I guess that's it. Good job to all of you!

Thanks Vinstigator. X had suggested we should end the episode at that point, so he made a good choice on picking that as the cliffhanger. In certain situations, I would make the player die or lose a life (since ghosts don't die in this story, they just go to sleep or a trance), but here, they are just in the city, where there isn't anything harmful there, not really any demons around. But later, there will be more opportunities for the player to die. Anyways, we're glad you liked the story and want to see what happens.

Interesting game, yet a good game, but i feel its a bit too basic concept wise, having something locked in storage but someone cant remember the combination so she wrote in on 6 seperate pieces of paper, sounds more like idiocity to me, but at least you managed to make a great game out it.

Graphics were above average, but didn't WOW me, but they were decently good, the animation was smooth and quite intricate to watch, not anything orgasmic though, but still pretty fluent. Everything was cool lookin, from the moving wheels on the cars, to the snininess of the gem inside the lockers. The Ghosts need to be more transparent.

Interactivity was simply click and point, kind of repetitive, but there isn't much you can do to change that.

Overall, i liked it, its interesting/fun to play, its hard which makes you want to complete the game for bragging rights, I beat it though :D. This has got some very nicely animated parts of the story. a few very minor flaws, too little they arent even worthy of mentioning. this flash is certainly proven itself to be on the newgrounds frontpage, congrats to you ~X~, AIM, and Onic.

An Easy 5/5.

Thanks for reviewing jOObie, we appreciate it. You commented on quite a lot of things. Maybe it was a little odd about having to put 6 clues for a locker combination, but I didn't want to make it too easy and also wanted to give people a reason to check all the shops to earn their clues. In the human world, the ghosts look transparent (such as in ep.3 when Joseph tries to be a resident haunt), but in the ghost world, they look a solid color. It's partly to show that they are in a different location or possibly have a different ability in that world. It might not make sense, but according to this fictional story, the ghost are a bit limited in their world, whereas, in the human world, they have more freedom/power. :)

not to shabby

Well aside from what others have already pointed out, I can't really find anything at all wrong with this game. Animation is abit shoddy, sound could use some work, loved the story though. Keep working at it though, considering I can't draw worth a damn, you've got me beat heh...heh. Soooooo yeah, liked it man, keep going.
