You have the beginnings of a solid series here. The action is actually quite good. Especially the scene where the young girl is killed. It has a very stark feel to it that is hard to get with sprites.
However you really need to work on your writing and character developement. All your characters, even X, are completely 2 dimensional and your word order sucks.
Keep trying though, you have a good start.
