Way to recycle. Bringing the 40's(?) to now is clever and fairly original. I don't think it's been done in video game form. So ggod job and stick with original ideas.

Speaking as a fan of 1930's era cartoons, you did a great job. Everything really looks like something from an old cartoon - the artwork, character design, music, all of that is almost flawless. And I don't have a problem with it scrolling "backwards" - I think it's just fine. It's a challenge, too - and that's a good thing. Keep making more stuff like this!
