Really Nice

Heh, I like this song, it reminds me of Dimrain's song "Surface" with the fast beginning melody. Anyways, I wanted to point out some of the stuff that I thought you did really well and a few things that I think you could (possibly) change to maybe make some parts a little more interesting.

Firstly, like I already said, I really love the beginning. It grabs your attention , which is always a good factor in a song.

Around 1:02, the synth comes in, and I liked what you did with the melody here. You changed things up a bit. Which brings me to my next point, a place that I think has some untapped potential. At 1:26, it breaks down to just drums and bass. I really think you could do some great things with the bassline here, especially since it's just sitting on the same notes the whole song. This is more of a personal opinion then anything, but I really think you could go somewhere with that spot.

I really enjoyed 1:45, when the strings come in. Strings can really define a piece and it was well done here. And then at 2:05, that was really great writing there. And a real nice way to transition back into your first idea. You keep the strings going here which I like. But one other suggestion I have is that when it drops back down to just drums, bass and strings, is to have the strings take a new direction and give your listeners something new to listen to. It dosn't have to be a solo of any sorts, but if you could add a counter melody here, or maybe even a second loop to harmonize, it would really add some nice flavor to this part of the song.

At 2:48, you drop everything off except for the strings, which I really enjoyed. Quite a good idea on how to end the song there, and it worked well. Also, the cymbal at the end was a nice touch, sort of a finishing thought for the song.

All in all, I was very pleased with your song and I enjoyed listening to it. For a first submission, this is quite outstanding, and I really look forward to hearing more from you. You get a 9/10 and a 5/5 from me (I round up ^^) and you're going on my favorites so I can see what else you come up with.

I look forward to your future submissions :)
