The structure of the game is excellent and your coding is almost flawless! Did you use the local to global code for the xy position of the dude relative to to back ground?
Did you also hit test the limbs or the whole mc of the dude? Abd how did you make the plat forms where he can jump onto?
How did you get all that back ground to fit onto the stage?
Excellent game, needs a few tweaks but as I said, you know how to make the game work now you need to work on the gameplay! ;)

Awesome graphics, awesome engine, awesome bosses, awesome levels, awesome music, awesome enemies and awesome GAME all together. I couldn't believe that this was done in flash, it felt really like a console game ie; Metroid or something. Great game, powerfull...please make a sequel.
