Actually, if it were a sniper rifle, it'd be similar to that but you'd just be setting it, but it was the Halo 2 assault rifle, it's actually the safety being turned off, note the sound of the gun whenever you pull out an assault rifle in Halo(first one).

Yeah, I just realized I forgot to. I would've expected people to realize these were off Bungie, but I did put them on the Audio Credits I believe (I'm not on the movie's page atm).
I can do a close to perfect monitor imitation with ACID Pro 4 assignable effects tho :)
