Good tutorial with its pro's and con's...
I like the way you feel like you are learning from a flash professor, I myself am still stuck on motion tweening and if it needs to be a symbol to tween it. The only tweening i no is shape tweening which gets pretty annoying when you try to animate with it.
Overall your tutorial didn't really cover enough for me to fully understand. I like how we can follow along and practically do it but not enough general knowledge.
Decent Tutorial.
I am rating this based on the tutorial itself and how easy to understand it is, moreso than the actual animation. The tutorial was pretty helpful and I did enjoy the scientist narrator. I am still stuck inbetween the idea of whether or not this would have sounded better with sound or not. Taking "no music" on one side because: reading the tutorial needs concentration and music would only distract the reader. Taking "music" on the ither because: a light background music might have soothed the reader and possibly reduced some stress created from frustration of not understanding how to use their Macromedia. Either way I gave sound a 5/10 since I am undecided. Overall it was a nice tutorial and I hope beginners get alot of use out of it in helping them with Macromedia. 7/10
