That was really funny. Good character design and animation, too. And for all you people that take religion so seriously, give it a break. It's just a joke, and not one that is at the actual expense of any paticular religous belief.

Did you ever watch the dukes of hazzard and right when the duke boys are about to do something stupid, heroic, or just dangerous...the screen would freeze and a voice over would say something...that is how I imagine you felt beginning this project...

He'd probably say something cooler...anyway, your polished anime was fricking awesome, cosel and karay...great man, fricking great. I like the idea, what with the way Bush is being all holier than thou and the Islamic fundamentalists are feeding right into it and killing their own people, people need to see it in a silly light...because it is silly. And to anyone who really finds a need to threaten someone who describes themselves as a pansy...get a life you effing geek.
BTW, what kind of reaction did you expect? Christian and Muslim fundamentalists are crazy!!
Some people have no sense of humor
This wasn't as good as some of the other submissions by this animator, but it was just a trailor. I thought it was funny, and I hope I see the full version sometime (though wrestling isn't exactly the coolest subject). As for the death threats discussed in the warning, that is pretty disheartening to hear. I would imagine that anyone sending a death threat over this trailor (or any attack on religion, for that matter) would have to be "very religious." So religious that they would threaten someone's life...how moral of them. Can we say hypocritical? I am not religious in anyway, and I can proudly say I have never threatened anyone's life. Whether their religion is the "right one" or not, intolerant extremists are crazy. Anway, I liked the animation. I love the facial movements on the announcers, just like I liked the facial movements in the Kerry/Bush submission. Nice details, nice look and style.
The music was kind of annoying.
How delightfully controversial! Surely some muslim extremist has gotten to you before you'll read this review (because if some stick figures in Holland can inspire riots, imagine what THIS can do), but still, great work.
