Reviews for "Mysterious Roots"

Good Job

Reminds me "Queen of the Damned" , tribal and spooky , I like it, It can be a good song for the Rachel Brice who is a tribal Bellydancer... I really like it...

race1 responds:

Thanks.

Wow tribal belly dancer.... xD

Coool

Makes me feel im in the congo

race1 responds:

Indeed.

Definitely very good!

I just checked out the program you used... expensive... What deal did you manage to get? I'm very interested. Excellent job, considering its capabilities your musics gonna go a long way. Good luck! Looking forward to hearing more!

race1 responds:

They had a deal some time ago where you could get three libraries for 795 dollars or so. Alone each one was about 400 each. So taht was a nice deal.

I think they got rid of all thair Native Instruments powered stuff and are switching to this thing called the PLAY engine. They don't have Ra in PLAY yet but hmm... I like the NI powered stuff as it seems to run quite well.

Save up some money... and get an extra hard drive... they have sales that are pretty good. Buy one get one free type sales.

If you're looking for an orchestral library, PLAY SILVER is pretty good for a start. I'd check that out.

Hmmmm.

I dont know what to say. It makes me think of a tribe. Yet, what are they doing?

race1 responds:

Hm I never painted an image for this one... Sort of a deep misty forest type place on a somewhat damp morning.

if there is a tribe, I don't know what they're doing... living dayly life most likely.

Excellent

Honestly, I can't find anything wrong with this song. It sound like you achieved everything you were aiming for with this track. I like the mysterious Arabic feel you have going.
I don't give it a 10 only because it didn't resonate with me. It was a good listen, but no goose bumps, no hair standing up on my neck.... nada. It's just a matter of preference, but kudos none the less.

(hope I don't sound like a snooty ass hole. I come from a family of musicians, so it makes me a little hard to impress. No offense to anyone out there.)

race1 responds:

It's cool. I'm the same way. Thanks for the review though. :)
