This.....

This game is phat! it reminds me of Worms the PS1 game

I played this when it was in BASIC

Do you remember when this game was coded in BASIC? I do. In fact, the maps are near exact copies, only not nearly as good (the maps were demonstrations of wave fuctions--the game concept is basically just a big math demonstration). In fact, I coded a version myself. So, how is this different? For one, there's a small weapon selection. Of course, that would have been extremely easy to duplicate. In fact, it was. Several times. The Tank Game was copied a good number of times. The earliest popular version I can recall was Scorched Earth. This is essentially a crappier version of Scorched Earth. Much crappier. And guess what, I can play Scorched Earth on a LAN (or switch players)! For free! Or....I could just play Gunbound (also for free, but over the internet). Look, it's nice as a physics demonstration, but if you want it to be a game, make it unique somehow. That's what I look for in games posted on here: something I can't get better versions of for free (and I'm not talking trial versions of crap you have to register) elsewhere. For example, have you ever seen anything commercial like Abaddon? Oh yeah, and one more gripe: wind that changes each turn? WTF? That almost completely eliminates any vestige of skill required. It just becomes a matter of continuous guessing. I'd rather not go into detail into all the other major flaws in this game...
