Good song because it reminds me of a good game.
I wish I could get FL...I truly truly do. Oh well, I guess Garage Band will have to do.
Anywho. Great song, no surprise to a lot of us. I was elated to see this up on the incoming sumbittings ( I think that's how it's spelt.) after listening to Heaven Rd. Deux (Sorry, that's just what I call it :P)
Anyways, after coming home from an 8-player Halo 2 game, this reminds me a lot of playing it. 0:01-0:12 is when a lot of the people are getting ammo and weps, trying to layout positions and whatnot.
Then 0:13- 0:24 comes along and the first shots are fired, everythings going a little crazy. Once 0:25-0:34 comes in, things are degressing a little. Reload and wait for the chaos to ensue.
Now things get a little crazy in 0:35- 0:41, sniper shots are fired from balconies while rockets are fired at incoming vehicles. Once the victors emerge during 0:42-0:55, they are sprung right back into mayhem at as snipers now focus on the rocketeers, via.
at 0:56- 1:01, BOOOOM! The snipers are forced from their hiding spots as the respawned are claiming their revenge and flushing them out by various means. At 1:02- 1:09, the rocketeers see their chance, they rush in and strike at the snipers first, while the snipers are trying to rescue themselves with no scope hits.
And so, the battle rages on after 1:10-1:21, with Ghosts trying to get a double kill before getting blown up and the snipers trying to regain their spots while everyone is striking at each individuals weaknesses.
Oh ho, a leader is emerging in 1:22-1:29! He not only strikes at the disadvantages, but makes sure he keeps his hard to get at! Several alliances are formed in 1:30-1:39 with others to fight this menace!
Each group is weary of another, but they are all working towards a central goal, to take out the head honcho!
And so, they all meet at 1:40-1:49, and instead of attacking the leader, they begin to betray their comrades and others! Their greed for more kills allows the leader to scoop everyone up in a single shot!
The massacre continues during 1:50-2:04, with the leader winning by a landslide after the dismal strategy. From 2:05-2:11, the scoreboard is broadcasted throughout the players TV's, the winner laughing at his pwning.
This was probably exceedingly different from the original meaning of the song. I felt inspired to write this essay because...well, I like this song, and I like Halo!
