This is going to be a great series
I loved this first episode-- great job. I liked all the little nuances you put in. The final fantasy fight music was a great scene... and the Duck Hunt tie-in?? With the dog then jumping into the harbor?! Brilliant! I like how this is obviously a spoof, but it has a serious side as well as its humorous side.
I also enjoyed how you kept the graphics quality the same as old NES. Did you create those pixellated Lil' Macs and the punk on the street yourself? If you did, great job in keeping it just like the original game. I found this a very amusing and fun to watch animation.

Hey I appreciate it a lot man! Yea, all those sprites that you didn't see in the game was done by me. Yea if I just slack something in that is high quality it makes the movie look bad. I think it could've used a couple more jokes, for the most part it was a little too serious for me (I just can't take Punch-Out too serious, I love it for its humor), but it was quite a piece of work. If the follow-ups are as good, I hope this ends up in a collection.
You're probably going to hear this from now to infinity, but Little Mac's coach is actually called Doc Louis. I don't know if you purposely called him Carl ("Doc" could just be a nickname, after all), but just FYI.

Oh yea i know his name is Doc Louis, but have you ever seen that show called Family Matters? The fat cop guy, Carl Winslow, thats what all our friends thought he looked like. But anyhoo, thanks for your comments, i really appreciate it. i just wish there werent any assholes giving this movie a zero just because for nothing ya know...

I liked the 8-bit nintendo sounds. It brings me back to my younger days when there was only one good console on the market. go on with your work. 'cause this was one hell of a sprite movie. especially the sounds.

I haven't watched the other chapters but I just have a question.....did you make those Little Mac in the gray shirt sprites custom or are they just different sprites? Cause I want them. lol
