Reviews for "Tweening at its Finest"

I'm impressed.

Wow, I usually hate tutorials, but for some reason you remind me of a teacher I used to have with you style of lecture, and you did a good job from what I could tell.

A few things...

First, and most obvious, you should have redone some of your audio to make everything smoother, plus you could have avoided the somewhat excessive "ums" and pauses.

You graphics to support your lectures could be improved, but at least you had something to look at when the lecture was being given.

Overall, nicely done, but I think it has room for improvement if you are up to it. Breaking up your lectures a little would make it easier for someone to go back and find the exact part that they might have had a question on, rather then waiting through half a lecture to hear it once.

Again, nice job.

luminousnerd responds:

Thanks,
I will try to go easy on the ums and likes next time XD sorry about that

What do you mean by redone my audio?

we have enough of these

how many of these things do we have on NG? like 500? people should stop making these and let people mess up on their own. if we stop making tutorials, then those who cant flash will have nothing to keep them going and they will quit.

luminousnerd responds:

BUT THAT'S NOT FAIR! People SHOULD have something to keep them going, I don't want them to quit! Where would this world be if everybody quit at first let-down? NO WHERE! Haven't you learned ONE THING in life?!

ok this could be helpful to some

but I think true noobs could have a hard time following your explanations, because your visual support was kinda minimal,
some tips if you truely want this to work:

1. use visuals from flash (just hit printscreen on your keyboard and then import it into flash)
2. animate a mouse that will follow every step you explain
3. There was a little dot following a line which represented the progress of the audio, it would be handy if you could drag it around to skip to variouse points, to repeat certain parts perhaps.

I think with these ajustments you would have a very decent introduction to tweening that could be helpful to a lot of people.

luminousnerd responds:

okay but that would take at least 5-6 hours at absolute MINIMUM. so I won't animate the mouse. If I figure out how I might make the progress bar draggable.

Not really necessary....

Dont take it personally, but NOBODY should need a motion tweening tutorial. I will say that you did do a good job on the overall layout though. Next time, do a tutorial on something most people dont do, like shape tweening.

luminousnerd responds:

Actually a lot of people do. You haven't seen the crappy tweening around NG? Lucky you...

This tutorial WAS on shape tweening, you idiot! It was on both!

hmmm....

that was pretty gay....but may be helpful to some ppl.... how old are u again???

luminousnerd responds:

It was made to be helpful to noobs, you fool, not idiots who think they know everything about flash!

As for my age, It's called PROFILES. LEARN IT! USE IT! CLICK MY NAME YOU IDIOT!
