Reviews for "Lock Hawk Down Part One"

suprised me

i usually hate clock movies, but you where right this was completely different from all other clock movies ...very good.

Incredibly Impressive

So many things about this flash just came together flawlessly. The music, artwork, and especially the FX were perfect. The dialogue was extraordinarily convincing and your attention to detail in even the most mundane of lines really shined, making the characters come alive. Towards the end there were a few portions where it seemed to get a little sloppy, but as a whole the entire movie was fantastic.

I have only a few suggestions for improvement:
1) The deaths weren't very realistic. I'm not a blood lusting viewer, but in contrast to the fine arwork in the rest of the piece, a casualty simply flopping onto its side seems out of place and, frankly, quite lame.

2) Some of the subtitles towards the end were messed up.

3) It seemed odd that the HQ would have such *detailed* information about the men. Realistically speaking, they would know who was injured or dead, but I doubt they'd know the exact circumstances. This may seem like a nitpick especially in a movie with characters as exotic as clocks and locks, but I think immersion was a goal of the flash, and realism would contribute to this.

Fantastic work. This is probably the 15th flash I've ever fifened... out of hundreds. I am very, very much looking forward to the next installment.

Hmm, yeah, I agree with you on those points...I'll update it in a minute with the glitches taken out. Thanks for nitpicking them out!

Great!!!

I love the movie Black Hawk Down! so i like this oen too =) hehe

GREAT JOB DUDE!!

Tween Hawk Down Part One Rules!

I really like this one and don't care if its a clock or lock movie. I'm going to be completely fair and honest.

Graphics: Very good although nothing impressive.

Sound: Annoying text to speech, however it had sound so an automatic point.

Interactivity: DVD menu cool, website url broken link not so cool. How about something more than a scene select?

Style: Nothing new, a spoof of a good movie with clocks and fruit tweened from pre-made vector images.

Violence: Well, it had recycled vector images of guns from other clock and/or lock movies.

Humor: None, enough said.

Overall: Awsome, oops I forgot the one infront of the zero... meh.

There you have it! I really enjoyed this one and will be sure to review part two.

Rho-VIII responds:

I mean no offense by what I'm about to say:

1) If you liked it why did you give it 0?
2) Ok, so the layers of gunfire, music, voices and helicopters I piled on weren't enough? Damn..
3) Well, what else can I put? Special features? Interview with PeachLock? I would have but I didn't have enough time, it was delayed as it is.
4) I drew those guns myself...

Nicely done

beautiful story...good job
