Reviews for "Dishonour."

this one's good

i liked the story,it was really touching at the end..heh..nice movie.. ijust didn't understand who was who and why they did what they did, but that's my problem, right?

well........

it was good animation i liked the music but.......... technically he's not a samouri when he fights for himself.

Rated wasn't best.

As being a samurai myself, I can give you all the reason of this bad rating. First off, for the flashes presentation, nothing special.
But the message delivered, the saying from the long dead daimyo, was about as truthful as can be. A samurai is many things, but thing he is not is a regular soldier or person. The stand outside of humanity, yet serve it, there is no such thing as oneself to a samurai. When what they know of, as in the lay off of his job to protect, probably his only action is to save his clan or someothers life by destroying it. Death, is the greatest honor. It shows you accepted your hell on earth. No matter what, earth is always hell.

hmmm....

Graphics- In my opinion it was to colourful, for it to have matched the theme and song you would have had to make it darker. Also work on ur action flics and humanoid bodies a little, I need to beleive its real.

Soung: Got anoying after a while.

Interactivity: nothing very special

Humor-Well nothing actually made me laugh in there.

P.S.: Samurai is spelled S-A-M-U-R-A-I not samuri :P.

Very deep

A very profound and affecting piece. It raises the ancient question of order of loyalty. The quotation - claiming duty to lord and clan as paramount and categorically damning any who stray therefrom - is set by implication against the prevailing modern Western view of loyalty to one's family being superior to loyalty to a ruler - an attitude clearly dependent on a democratic government and as different from the feudal way of thought as cheese is from Wednesday.
In speaking of mediaeval orders of knighthood, the king was often referred to as the fons honorum - the fount from which honor flows to the knights and lords of the order. The dichotomy of this piece is that the fons has been stemmed and the samurai stripped - de jure - of his honor, and yet the Western mind rebels at seeing a man devoted to his child as without honor.
Low marks for graphics. Study a little human anatomy and you will draw more realistic characters. Very good content.
