Very well done
I loved the graphics and the whole set-up of the game. I got really excited at first, when the objectives were ethereal but you could still see what you had to do. I lost focus a little bit at the end there; there were just so many items I had that I had no idea what to do with. Actually, I didn't end up finishing it because I lost so much focus-- I visited every place, got into the dance competition, but then gave up when it came to fixing the generator. I think a little bit of sound might have kept me in the game, or maybe a little more of an idea of what items to use (I could have just been an idiot also-- that's definitely a possibility).
But a quick list of items for which I found no use before I gave up: dart, handcuffs, dead flower, umbrella handle, bottle, beer can, antihistamines, hubcap, scissors... that's all I can remember, there may be more. I know that something had to be used by the ice cream truck and that you must be able to do SOMETHING at the "shop," but I got annoyed at just going up to an area and using all the items I had to see if anything happened.
One last point: yes, I did try the hint system, and all that showed me was what I could interact with. Maybe a new set-up would be good? For instance, having a white star for something I could interact with but do nothing, a blue star for something with wich I could use an item, and a red star for something I can pick up? Just a thought, since when I used the hint system it didn't help as I had already checked out all the things starred.
Great game, I loved the 3D world of it. I would LOVE to see a final version of this come out, one that holds my attention to the end and is a little clearer in terms of objectives. Nice job.
