This could have been a great submition if it had been portrayed in the correct way. You had a semi-correct idea, but you didnt follow through. If you had put in the pictures differently, my vote would change a lot. Sorry man, I'm voting for this to be blammed...
I've gotten good reviews and bad reviews. I love them all. I'm doing alot of soul searching right now, thanks to you guys. I submitted this based on raw emotion and anger at the situation in Iraq and the administrations handling of this war. I also wanted to show images of soldiers doing thier duties and also helping Iraqis, and the hate they are getting over there because of media coverage and so on. Some like this, some don't. Sorry you didn't. Thanks for the review.

i think that this movie needs a more sad song due to the fact that i was shown in a serious situation. The song didnt fit the mood that should have been given to the eye and ear.

that was practically a crime to the family and freinds of victims of that war, i am one of them. half of that was bush bashing. listen, both sides of this war have severely fucked up in there own ways. the last thing we need is a whiny little CUNT like you who wont take any actions about anything, just childish namecalling and finger pointing.

Seeing as how most people aren't basing their vote on the actual badly-made movie, but on their badly educated and thought up political opinions. It's fun hearing the stupid conservatives make their point, then making the stupid liberals make their point. I would almost say that sticking in pictures of Bush while he was enjoying himself inbetween pictures of the soldiers in Iraq was unfair to him, but it makes a valid point. Bush has no courage. "Oh my, Saddam, I want revenge for my dear old daddy, who failed to kill you, so I'm going to send OTHER people's children over there to kill you." I also enjoy reading reviews saying that we would be saying the same thing if he didn't go to war. As any angry conservative intolerant redneck would understand, the liberals are "hippies", as you people call them. They are against war. If instead of going over there and killing innocents and plotting it on weapons, Bush acted on the September eleventh info his ass was sitting on, then the liberals WOULDN'T be mad at him. Then he would be a good president. We don't insult the president because he can't put a sentence together, we insult him because he is a shoddy leader, unlike many people who say Kerry sucks because he voted for war. Alright, Kerry voted for war- he sucks. Bush voted for war- he sucks. Rumsfeld is a lying sack of shit- he sucks. Colin can't stand up for himself- he sucks. There is not a single good politician out there. So everyone should stop whining about him being uneducated, he's just trying to make a point, which what I believe many of you people failed to accomplish. Oh, yeah, newsflash. The man that democracy was supposed to be handed over to in Iraq was blown up at a stop light. This certainly is being handled well. We certianly are helping Iraq. "Let's give a democracy to a country that isn't prepared for and doesn't want it" Good idea, Mr. Bush, good idea, congress, good idea whatver the hell numbskull you bush supporters want to blame it on. "If I don't like it I should leave, and see how it is not under Bush"...there's more freedom in Canada, more safety in China, than in this country. Bush is too concerned with that oiling hole in the middle-east to be concerned with the country he was supposed to be governing. In summary, screw everyone, don't vote, it's not the popular vote that counts anyway. Vote Green party or something, and make history, it's a waste of time anyway.
Damn... well put. A lot of people feel I'm just Bush bashing, but if this was Kerry I would've made the same flash. This is just a movie about my feelings on the war in Iraq, and showing some respect to the troops. You pointed out something as well. I don't think Iraq is ready to be free, and I don't think we should have went in when we did. I think Bush forced the issue. War should be the last option. I'm not against it at all. But lets explore other options.
How many have died?
What we all need is prespective. When you step back and look how many soldiers have died over the course of 1 year in wars, this is pretty freakin light. Especialy now that things are unfolding, and nothing is certain, and some of these images are just tasteless. Nick Berg should show what these terrorists want to do to us Americans, not fuel for the anti-war movment. And his father is hardline anti-war even before the incident, so go figure on that one. Try looking at the facts before making something about your emotions.
I never said I was Anti War. I'm against this war. I don't think we should have went in when we did. Iraq was a threat. Now we've made it a bigger one. I'm not against war. But I think war should be the last option.
