BATCAT DUNANANANANANANANAAA BATCAT comes to save the day. its the child of batman and cat woman

NekoMika responds:

That would be creepy, although seeing Batman and Catwoman have a child would be interesting.

Get a scanner :P

No, but really, you should get a scanner, because the quality on this one is really harmed by the fact that this seems to have been taken with a regular camera.

Either way, looks like a cat fused with a bat and Cyclops. Terrifying, IMO. The lineart is pretty good, the ears and wings look like they are different sizes though, want to check in on that. There are some lines from the sketching that should've been erased completely, and there is a slight lack of texture to the head. I suppose it's a hairy face, so there should be some more lines to it.

It sure is original, crossing creatures like this is something people don't do often enough. The result can be pretty hilarious. You could also try coloring it in. You've used a pencil to color in here, which is well done. I also like that you've done some shading on the ears.

NekoMika responds:

Yea, I took this with a cam. I do have a printer scanner but the thing has not worked in years and I actually do plan to buy a scanner/printer very soon so I can upload other art pieces I have done.

Well I looked up something entirely random in middle school and came across that thing. I decided I would draw it as close as I could, the ears and wings did not go as well as planned. Guess I could do a second version of this with colors adding more life to it as well too I guess.

Yea, I guess it could be original. Thanks a plenty for the review though, appreciate it. :-)

It's a decent sketch.

Not the worst I've seen, definitely not the best. I do agree with Soap, you NEED to use a scanner. The quality on it is so much worse without one than it would be with one. The eye-lazer thing is pretty odd, I don't think it quite worked at the right eye, and the left lazer seems to bend a bit. It looks like the whole thing is cacling madly or something, and I'm not sure what that is on the back, part of a spinal cord or tail with bone chunks dangling out of it?

My only real words for improvement on this would be to get a scanner and color it in. I could imagine this thing being purple and/or pink, for some reason, with blue ears. But then, that might make it seem like a 4-year-old colored it in... I'm really not sure how it would be colored, actually, but that would probably make it look a lot better. Perhaps computerizing it so that there aren't pencil lead fuzz all over the place from the hand would be a good idea as well.

NekoMika responds:

Thanks for the kind words. Aside from a bass guitar and a few other minor things I do plan to get a scanner/printer soon. :-)

Thanks for the review.

Needs touching up

I'd say that the effect of the piece is pretty good, though you could stand to use a little more in the way of colour and presentation - the lines coming from the eyes going straight over the top of the piece look messy and I'm unsure what they actually are - eye lazers, the eyes actually being out on stalks, much like in a Tom & Jerry cartoon, for example.

The shape is decent, but the back of the head looks a little angular. Softening these lines could certainly help you out, with the overall presentation. I know that certain parts need to look angular, like the ears, but the neck just seems an odd place to do that.

Finally, to give a little more impact, background and context could certainly help you out here.

NekoMika responds:

Yea, I think when I did it back then that the lines around the eyes were meant to indicate brightness of its eyes as lasers shot out of them. As for color I do plan to do so in the future when I think of a color that would best fit it here.

For softening things up and redoing the ears and neck piece, I would be more than happy to try doing those in the future too so it looks smoother.

As for background, I guess a cosmic background would be nice.

Thanks for the review once again.

good but needs touching up.

NekoMika responds:

I might touch up on it one day.
