Graphics:
Loved the graphics. I senced some earth worm jim mixed with some comic zone. Every thing siuted everything here!
Sound: Love the music. It gave it a (surprisingly) good vibe! The gun sounds werent too bad either! i loved the job done on the voice for the lil guy, though im sure it was ripped from worms (along with the gun sounds) it still suited it all very well and inhanced the feeling!
Interactivity: Loved it for the most part. The feeling of the game is very good but you have to teach this little guy to shoot in more directions (if possible). Id love to see an update where you can shoot in diagonals!
Style: Although this is your typical side scrolling shooter you did it very well! I also liked the slowdown feature. I think itd be a cool power up you earn by killing enough enemies!
Violence: Just the repetion of shooting and bad guys touching you.
Humor: Some funny stuff here but nothing over the top.
Overall: This is a great game with great graphics! It has an amazingly professional feel to it and the choosen sound effects combined with the way it all looks draws you into the experiance.
Closing: Im usually very turned off (and some times pissed off) when i click on an animation to find out its a game! I wasn't even gonna play this one because most games (even well reviewed ones) turn out to be utter crap! But after this, i think i will play a few here and there. This game will definately going into my list of faves! You may just have restored my faith in NG games!
Just dont screw it up with number two. BECAUSE YOU ARE MAKING A NUMBER TWO!!!
